Heat waive Griffin, Hamilton

The Miami Heat waived forward Eric Griffin and center Justin Hamilton on Saturday.

Miami's roster is at 15 players.

Griffin, who was signed as a free agent in September, averaged 1.7 points, 1.1 rebounds and 6.1 minutes over seven preseason games.

Hamilton, who was acquired in a trade during the 2012 draft, averaged 2.6 points, 1.0 rebound and 5.6 minutes over five preseason games.

Raptors waive Morais, Wright

The Toronto Raptors waived guard Carlos Morais and forwardChris Wright on Saturday.

Toronto's roster is at 15 players.

Morais had six points in 21 minutes over three preseason games while Wright had 10 points and six rebounds in 26 minutes over five games.
